At the completion of training, you’ll test to become nationally certified through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
STUDENTS MUST MEET WITH A CAREER PROGRAM SPECIALIST BEFORE ENROLLING IN A CERTIFICATE PROGRAM.
Prerequisite: Prior coding experience strongly recommended. Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology.
NOTE: Must have high school diploma or GED, previous coding or billing experience and knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology. Must meet with a career program specialist and achieve a satisfactory score on entrance exam.
