In this 2-hour interactive session, you’ll learn whether to enroll in the high school diploma program or GED Prep and complete enrollment forms. Diploma students should bring their latest transcript; GED Prep students will schedule placement testing. All students must attend an annual orientation and enrollment session.

Is there a cost?
- Groves students pay a $40 supply fee at enrollment. If you are unable to pay, you may request a waiver of the fee.
Do I have to come in person?
- Yes, all students should plan to attend an in-person information session.
- All Groves classes meet at the Polytech Woodside campus. In-person attendance is required.
How long will it take to earn my Groves diploma?
- The Groves diploma is earned by completing classes to earn high school credits. The length of time required to earn a Groves diploma varies depending on whether you have previous high school credits, as well as how often you are able to attend.
- Students may transfer previous high school credits from any accredited high school program to fulfill program requirements. Credit may also be earned through work experience and/or community experience.
What if I've attended Polytech Groves or GED classes before?
- If you have attended the Polytech Groves program since July 1, 2025, you do not need to complete another information session. Please contact Mrs. Dennis at erica.dennis@polytech.k12.de.us to schedule an appointment.
