FAQs
A Registered Apprenticeship is a hands-on training program that lets you hire and develop employees
while they’re working for you. Apprentices receive paid on-the-job training at your company along with related
classroom instruction. Programs are registered through the Delaware Department of Labor and aligned
with national standards.
- Hire the student as a paid apprentice and register them as apprentices through the DOL
- Provide hands-on training and supervision
- Support required classroom instruction
- Follow a structured training plan with wage progression
