The Polytech Adult Education IT Fundamentals program is designed to help students who are interested in computers determine if a career in the IT field is right for them. Participants will gain skills required for entry-level employment and satisfy the prerequisite requirement for enrollment in the Computer Support Specialist program.

IT Fundamentals

 IT Fundamentals is a hybrid course that provides a balance of self-paced, and instructor facilitated learning. Participants explore foundational concepts related to computer hardware and software, networking, databases, programming, information systems, and data security and perform real-world tasks associated with various IT fields and are prepared to advance to the Computer Support Specialist program.
