Free English Classes for Adults
Are you looking to improve your English to find a job, advance in your career, or enroll in a training program? Our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes are designed to help adults whose first language is not English reach their goals.
Literacy classes for children 3 – 12 years of age will be available while parents attend class.
Children will have fun and exciting educational activities while you learn English!
Dinner is provided for children!

- Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 9:00am – Location: Polytech Adult Education – 823 Walnut Shade Rd., Woodside, DE (come to the back of campus, on the left side)
- Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 6:00pm – Location: Polytech Adult Education – 823 Walnut Shade Rd., Woodside, DE (come to the back of campus, on the left side)
- Monday, August 24, 2026, at 9:00am – Location: Polytech Adult Education – 823 Walnut Shade Rd., Woodside, DE (come to the back of campus, on the left side)
- Monday, August 24, 2026, at 6:00pm – Location: Polytech Adult Education – 823 Walnut Shade Rd., Woodside, DE (come to the back of campus, on the left side)
- Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 6:00pm – Location: South Dover Elementary, 955 South State St., Dover, DE
- Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:00pm – Location: Reily Brown Elementary, 360 Webbs Ln., Dover, DE (Side Entrance)
- Monday, September 14, 2026 at 6:00pm – Location: Milford High School, 1019 N. Walnut St., Milford, DE (Cafeteria Entrance)
Registration begins promptly at 9:00 am or 6:00 pm, please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Our address is Polytech Adult Education, 823 Walnut Shade Rd., Woodside, DE 19980. When you arrive proceed to the back of the campus, on the left side, to the first parking lot in the back of the campus. Our entrance is through the first set of doors.
